Role Objective:  The GSR investigates, responds to, and closes direct Government (Federal , State and Local) contracts, in a 95% desk-based position. The role is 100% dedicated to new growth in Government sector accounts.

Role Process:    Using precise, specified target profile guidance from Eurofins lead-generation resources, the GSR initiates direct contact with the identified Government entity, qualifies Eurofins for RFP status,  creates the opportunity for tracking in the CRM, and works with internal teams to optimize opportunity closure.

·            GSR absorbs  & assumes a government sector list as target assignment scope, sequentially outreaches to all targets >$50K contract spend

·            Outreach is e-mail/TEAMS/phone based

·            Serial outreaches likely necessary in most cases

·            GSR completes prequalification process for target ( vendor registration, Q&E credentials, etc.)

·            GSR plays closure role in tender timeline to extent possible

·            GSR documents all activities in the CRM, to create an active opportunity pipeline for tracking and reporting opportunities

Lead Generation Opportunity criteria:

·            Comprehensive State-by-state or other government sector studies produced by Proposal/lead gen team.

·            Opportunity contract size/Value

·            Scope of the opportunity

·            Name of contracting entity

·            Competitor incumbent evaluation

·            Name/e-mail and phone number of entity representative for follow-thru

·            Profile of work, to extent possible

Generation of a pipeline opportunity report to be reviewed.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree

·       1-2 years internal sales experience

·       Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
