Eurofins Environment Testing Australia New Zealand is an Environmental testing network of fully accredited laboratories. With a staff of over 200 our laboratories are located in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Auckland and Christchurch, with Client Service Offices located in Adelaide, Darwin, Newcastle and Wollongong. We also operate field sampling services out of Melbourne and Sydney. We specialise in all areas of Environmental analysis, including Contaminated Soil, Sludge, Sediments, Leachate, Soil Vapour, Trade Waste Effluents, Sewage Effluents, Stack Emissions, Work Place Air, Ambient Air, Dust, Drinking Water, Surface Water run off, River & Stream Monitoring, Seawater, and Groundwater.

Due to continued company growth, we are searching for a highly motivated individual to join our small team based at our satellite hub in Winnellie.

This permanent part time opportunity will be working closely with the Assistant Analytical Services Manager, and will be responsible for managing sample collection and distribution to our clients to ensure that our turnaround times are met.

The primary duties for this position include:

• Bottle order preparation for despatch.
• Sample management - sample storage and coordination.
• Providing a courier service to clients as required - sample pick-ups and deliveries (this will include travel across Darwin and wider NT as required).
• General housekeeping and maintaining a safe and operative working environment.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday - 1pm to 5pm (20hrs per week).

To be successful for this position, you will need to demonstrate the following qualities and characteristics:

• Current Drivers Licence - essential
• Good communication skills. 
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to effectively manage time and priorities.
• Available to work the above hours.

Some on the job training will be provided, along with the use of our systems and programs. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done.

• Tertiary qualifications in Science - advantageous

• This position is a full-time permanent position.
• This position is based in Dandenong South.
• This position is only open to candidates that currently have working rights in Australia.
