Job Description

  • Perform EMC testing on a wide array of products falling under consumer electronics, medical devices, telecommunications equipment, automotive vehicles and automotive component categories.
  • Generate valid and accurate EMC test results in accordance with to CISPR, FCC, ISO, ETSI and IEC/EN standards
  • Create work instructions for conducted and radiated emissions, conducted and radiated immunity and transient testing
  • Perform verification on test instruments to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Follow internal quality processes and procedures
  • Review EMC test reports to ensure accuracy for clients
  • Help the fellow EMC engineers in the execution of daily testing/work in the lab
  • Assist lab manager with related tasks
  • Support department objectives and company goals

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

  • Experience with different lab equipment: spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, power amplifiers, antennas, etc.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet or exceed deadlines

 Basic Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
  • Experience in testing to CISPR, FCC, ISO, ETSI and IEC/EN is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work, Monday through Friday, second shift, occasional weekend overtime
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
