Glassware Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Clean all laboratory glassware  - glassware is cleaned in laboratory glassware washing machines or soaking baths
• Perform routine inspections of glass for cracks and breaks
• Assess damaged glass to determine if repair or disposal is necessary
• Communicate status of inventory to group leaders for purposes of re-ordering
• Assist other sections of department, by delivering clean glassware and aiding in some basic prep work

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Basic computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Eurofins Environment Testing Businesses in US are routinely engaged in Federal Contracts. Federal Government vaccination mandates apply to staff working in these businesses. Successful applicants will be required to confirm vaccination status or demonstrate eligibility for medical or religious exemptions prior to commencing employment.

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
