• Familiar with protein structure and chemistry; experience handling proteins in a laboratory setting
• Develop LCMS method for peptide mapping and disulfide mapping of proteins, antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates
• Versed in proteolytic digestion procedures
• Develop methods to identify the site occupancy of drugs in protein drug conjugates
• Develop methods to identify post-translational modifications including deamidation and oxidation sites in proteins.
• Develop methods to characterize glycoforms in glycoproteins
• Develop mass spectroscopy methods for the determination of intact mass for proteins, peptides, and small molecules
• Familiar with MSMS fragmentation of small molecules and peptides
• Skilled at converting HPLC methods to LCMS compatible methods
• Skilled in the operation of Waters QToF instruments and software (MassLynx)
• Skilled at structural elucidation using accurate mass data
• Skilled at developing HPLC and UPLC methods

• Test serum samples from clinical drug development studies to determine drug level and anti-drug antibodies (ADA) in immunoassays to support high priority biological and vaccine programs
• Work according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidance
• Maintain accurate records of ongoing projects in adherence with documentation standards
• Assist in generation and review of reports and contribute to trouble shooting efforts
• Work in a structured environment under limited to moderate supervision
• Communicates effectively with client staff members
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
