Job Description

Eurofins' ComLIMS-B2I Team is an internal team of the Eurofins Group based in Brussels and India. The team’s primary mission is to provide Business Intelligence and Data Management solutions to its end-users worldwide.

We are looking for a talented intern to join our driven, highly skilled and diverse team of Business Analysts within the B2I Team for 6 to 12 months in Brussels. Ideally, you will be innovative, team-oriented and an effective communicator. We are looking for someone who is detail-driven, with a critical mindset, and genuinely interested in IT and Business Intelligence. 

Start date: Between May – July 2021

Duration: 6 to 12 months

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Type of contract: Full-Time (38 hrs/wk)

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the evolution of our Business Intelligence and Data Management solutions and work in close coordination with the Development Team in India to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, with tasks incl.:
    • Analysis of needs
    • Optimisation of operational processes and creation of graphical mock-ups;
    • Formalisation of specifications;
    • Trainings for end-users.
  • Ensure end-user requirements, and the quality and timing of deliverables are respected;
  • Think outside the box and innovate to bring strong added value to our projects.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled or recent graduate in a Master Degree in Engineering; 
  • Knowledge of SQL, UML or Power BI is an asset;
  • Strong critical thinking and detail-orientated skills;
  • Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills;
  • Proactive and adaptable personality with a keen analytical mindset;
  • Strong problem-solving attitude, ability to pragmatically define solutions, and capacity to capture and understand all relevant details when necessary;
  • Fluent English communication skills (written/oral) is required. Knowledge of another language is a plus.
