Job Description

A reagent manager is given authority to edit records, create new records, place requisition requests “On Order”, and edit reagent records as part of the annual material review cycle.

 

Other roles include:

 

  • Enter Purchased standards and reagents, USP/EP standards and client materials supplied.

 

  • Pull client material supplied reference standards that have expired to a “Pending Discard” unit and update reagent system to show materials as Pending Discard.

 

  • Update client standards through ticketing system as requested.

 

  • Discard expired standards and reagents.

 

  • Place in lab pack areas that are not depleted and work with safety concerning destruction.

 

  • Communication with Project Managers and Technical personal concerning client materials supplied.

 

  • Inventory Client Materials

 

  • Take items to shipping as client requests

 

  • Over check and enter aliquots using aliquot form and/or ticketing system for client materials supplied.

 

  • Inventory and update all standards and reagents given an Inventory Check Date

 

  • Weekly updates of EP standards

 

  • Monthly updates of USOP standards

 

  • Scan Documents

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess :

  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Strong computer knowledge.

Basic Minimum Qualifications :

  • High School Degree
  •  Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
