Eurofins Assurance and Eurofins Consumer Product Testing (CPT) Divisions is two of the divisions under Eurofins Scientific. Eurofins Assurance is currently looking for a Junior Product Owner to join our Product team in Massy Palaiseau (France).

As the voice of the user, you will work closely with the digital platform team leader of Eurofins Assurance to drive the decisions that make our product the best they can be, for our users and the organization as a whole. Working with stakeholders, you will lead the research, requirement gathering and prioritization of your own strategic product backlogs.

Roles and responsibilities

• Work with the digital platform leader and stakeholder client to identify needs and define requirements

• Work with the Product and Tech teams to define vision, roadmap and growth opportunities

• Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the consequent user stories

• Plan and prioritize the product backlog for the product and create Roadmap

• Work closely with the Scrum Master and Head of Development to ready tasks and goals for the Scrum development team

• Provide vision and direction to the development team throughout the product life-cycle

• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy

• Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals

• Contribute to testing, problem-solving and scoping issues to maintain sprint velocity

• Lead Backlog Grooming and Sprint Planning sessions, communicating themes and priorities to the development teams

• Research and analyse market, the users, and the road-map for the product

• Follow our competitors and the industry

• Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

Experiences & qualifications

• Knowledge of Agile process and principles

• Product Owner certification is a plus

• Fluent in English is required, French is a plus
