How can you contribute?

In the role of Database/Data Architect (70% Database/Data Architecture and 30% DBA), you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in providing best-fit architectural solutions regarding data storage.

The Database/Data Architect maintains and evolves core Platform databases by determining structural requirements, creating and maintaining documentation, developing and implementing holistic database solutions, acting as SME on platform architecture to advise derivative projects on normalized/optimized extensions. This role is for a long-term program supporting platform development and associated applications. The Database/Data Architect will provide solution development and integration for agile teams, including requirements backlog management, DevOps, database design, database tuning for software development, testing, ETL data migration, and support during release deployment.

You will also deliver high quality technical solutions within the area of technology specialization and in compliance with guidelines, policies and norms of the organization. Are you our kind of extraordinary?

You will have over 10 years experience with MS SQL Server database driven solutions  and 5 years of MS SQL Server Database Architecture experience. 

In addition you will have experience with:

• Experience with database solutions for OLTP, OLAP and reporting applications.
• Experience with ORM frameworks, especially EF and Dapper.
• Experience with migration projects from on-prem to Azure database (PaaS)
• Experience with NoSQL databases such MongoDB, Cassandra, ElasticSearch
• Experience with Big data solutions such as Hadoop
• Experience with BI solutions such as PowerBI or Tableau
