Eurofins Technologies Clinical Solutions, branded externally as Gold Standard Diagnostics, focuses on the development, manufacturing and marketing of in-vitro diagnostics assays and automation. Recently the group has made three acquisitions in Germany (Novatec GmbH, Virotech GmbH and Immunolab Clinical GmbH) which in the future will serve as future R&D, Production and Sales hubs in Europe.

In the context of the Covid-19 crisis, the business is undergoing a rapid expansion with product launches in the field of serological Point of Care Diagnostics, serological immunoassays (ELISA), molecular diagnostics RNA Extraction and RT-PCR assays as well as instrumentation.  

As the Senior Application Specialist (m/f/d) Clinical Molecular Diagnostics you are responsible for the training of new customers, the troubleshooting at customer sites and certain pre-sales activities. In addition, you will be tasked to create strong relationships with end-users and collect user feedback and service data to promote the improvement of our products and services.

• Training of new customers on full workflow including DNA/RNA Extraction and RT-PCR
• Provide technical assistance to customers via telephone, online tools and in person
• Support commercial teams in pre-sales activities
• Assist in complaint documentation and resolution
• Create written and video-based training material

• Master’s degree in molecular biology, biomedical engineering, or related field. PhD would be advantageous
• Work experience in commercial laboratories
• Customer centricity
• Experience with systems for tracking proper functioning of tests, equipment, and software versions
• Fluency in English
• Valid European Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record

In this role you will work from your home office or at the customer location.

You will have to be flexible enough to travel to a customer´s site with one day´s notice. It is therefore advisable that you live within a driving range of maximum four hours to
