Job Description

  • The development, implementation, and revision of a clearly defined and documented Quality Assurance Program meeting the requirements of ISO 17025, ISO 17065, ISO 17020 and other applicable standards
  • Maintains a culture of professionalism and outstanding customer service
  • Administration of programs to maintain industry certifications and registrations
  • Oversight of external and internal audit processes
  • Implementation of proper testing and inspection procedures, and verification of adherence by testing personnel through department managers
  • Supervision of the calibration process (internal and external) to verify adherence to operating procedures
  • Informing department directors / managers of any quality deficiencies in their departments, guiding root cause analysis and verifying corrective actions
  • Initiating required audits of all aspects of the Quality Assurance Program and reporting same to President and department directors
  • Directing appointed department representatives in execution of Quality Assurance/Quality Control functions
  • Input into Operational Excellence initiatives

  • Identify and implementing coaching and training needed to meet quality standards

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess: 

  • Proven experience as quality manager and a cross-functional leader
  • Conscientious and responsible
  • A keen eye for detail and a results driven approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Experience utilizing critical thinking to troubleshoot issues, working collaboratively with a team to brainstorm solutions, and implementing solutions
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data/statistical analysis and uncertainty budgets
  • Prior experience in highly regulated industry (NRTL, CB)
  • Experience in the TIC E&E business (Test, Inspection & Certification Electronics and Electrical business)
  • Knowledge of Product Safety, Environmental Simulation, Wireless and EMC testing business

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years of related experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Manager
  • Documented experience in the following:
  • Maintaining a QAP meeting the ISO 17025 standard
  • 17025 auditing – completion of internal and external audits
  • Root cause Analysis and corrective action
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Able to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
