Job Description

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, Inc. seeks Principal Chemist to perform analytical tasks for the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department. Duties include performing assays using HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography), GC (Gas Chromatography), UV/VIS (Ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy), wet chemistry analysis and dissolution apparatus, performing laboratory maintenance, executing method validations, writing investigations and deviations and consulting with clients.

 

Qualifications

Requires: M.S. in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences + 2 years’ experience (or B.S. + 5 yrs exp.) performing analytical testings in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment. The position also requires experience with analytical testing using HPLC methods and Empower Chromatography Data System (“CDS”), dissolution analysis, validation projects and lab maintenance and training and mentoring staff.
