About Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd

Eurofins IT Solutions  (A CMMI Level 3 Company) is a 100% full owned subsidiary of Eurofins. This young captive centre located in Bangalore was established in 2012 to be the largest IT Solutions group within Eurofins to cater to all the internal IT business needs. The primary focus of IT Solution group will be to develop the next generation LIMS (Lab Information Management system), Customer portals, Ecommerce solutions, ERP/CRM system & B2B platforms for various Eurofins Laboratories and businesses.

POSITION TITLE: QA Test Lead

REPORTING TO:  Development Manager

WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore, India

OBJECTIVE: Drive the Testing Activities of an agile team with strong product focus

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Experience:

Understand the requirements, transform those into test cases and also execute and perform review of test cases.

Strong experience in testing in different stages of product development

Collaboratively work with different teams for test data and for end to end testing.

Should be the SPOC for the team he/she is part of.

Ensure that activities are coordinated with all stakeholders according to schedule, while ensuring that testing activities are thoroughly documented in accordance with the testing lifecycle and engineering activities.

Provide effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives and performance to plan

Work with the Manager and colleagues to define strategy associated with Functional and Integration Testing.

Support the Planning of test schedules in accordance with project scope/delivery dates.

Participate in user story reviews to provide input on functional requirements, Acceptance Criteria, schedules, or potential problems.

Should have good knowledge of Defect Management process and be able to perform Root Cause Analysis of Defects.

Should be able to Mentor team members

Should drive Daily Status Calls, Meetings with Stakeholders, Sprint Walkthroughs/Reviews, and Grooming Meetings and essentially should liaise between ITQA and the project Team.

Technology skills:

Mandatory

Strong understanding of Test life cycle

Should have a Strong understanding of Web based application development and deployment.

Should have Hands on Experience on some Test Management tool like TFS/MTM, HP QC etc.

Hand-on experience in Services testing tools like Fiddler, JSON Lint

Understanding of agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) and possess agility mindset

Should have working knowledge of SOA testing principles.

Should be strong in Database.

Strong Interpersonal and team handling skills

Preferred

Experience with product development organizations

Experience in products with regulatory needs is a plus

Experience in Test automation with Selenium and Protractor

Experience on Azure Devops

Personal Skills:

BE/MCA or any other equivalent degree with strong pedigree

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated team leading abilities are required

Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements

Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various topics related to project and otherwise.

Should be able overlap with team in US Eastern timezone in the evenings

PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL CRITERIA:

Eurofins has a strong focus on Performance Management system. This includes quarterly calibrations, half-yearly reviews and annual reviews. The KPIs shall be set and may vary slightly between projects. These will be clearly communicated, documented during the first 30 days of your joining.
