Job Description

 

  • Perform LC assays to support in-house studies.
  • Develop, implement, and perform biochemical analyses via LC methods in the lab.
  • Prepare fit-for-purpose method qualifications, contributing to CMC sections of regulatory documents.
  • Experience working on LC-based assays in biologics assays such as methods (RP, SEC, CEX, peptide and glycan map).
  • Understand project timelines and deliverables and plans/coordinates project work.
  • Provide feedback on interpretation and outcome of study results from a technical perspective.
  • Plan and implement resolutions to technical problems.
  • Prepares technical reports, author and review technical documents.
  • Helps develop project strategy and communicates complex data/decisions within department and cross functionally.

Qualifications

 

  • Master’s degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, engineering, or related pharmaceutical science 2 years of demonstrated experience or at least 4 years of demonstrated work experience with HPLC/UPLC based assays, Empower and Chromeleon data analysis software with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience working in a matrixed and cross-functional team environments.
  • Hands-on experience with a broad variety of biochemical testing applications including Liquid Chromatography: RP, SEC, CEX, (peptide and glycan map is plus)
  • Experience with chromatographic and such as Empower and Chromeleon.
  • Hands-on Experience with HPLC/UPLC.
  • Conduct troubleshooting for complex technical issues for biochemical assays.
  • Familiarity with method qualification, qualification of assay controls desirable.
  • Knowledge with GMP and regulatory guidelines and prior experience on a project team desirable.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
