Job Description

  • Understand and follow all written procedures
  • Understand and follow all procedures and processes required to maintain Regulatory Compliance (i.e. GxP, FDA/GLP and GCP, OECD, CLIA, etc.) and complete annual GxP training
  • Prepare chemical solutions while following standardized forms, standard operating procedures, and test methods.
  • Test and analyze samples while meticulously following test methods and other procedural documents
  • Provide cross-functional support to other departments as required
  • Document sample results after calculating data and completing repeat tables.  Documentation must be ALCOA (attributable, legible, contemporaneous, original, and accurate) and compliant with good documentation practices and deviations assessed.
  • Read and review all new SOP’s and maintain Training current in ETQ
  • Prepare for upcoming sample analysis by ensuring reagents, buffers, and consumables are available and prepared to complete the project.
  • Perform supervisory review for lab peers
  • Help maintain assigned laboratory equipment
  • Ensure laboratory trash/expired reagents are disposed of properly
  • Demonstrate and promotes the company vision
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Applies GMP/GLP principles in all areas of responsibility
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering to client needs and timeliness
  • Adjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlines
  • Adheres to site environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree with 0 to1 year of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 1 to 2 years of experience
  • Associate’s Degree with greater than 2 years of experience
  • Diploma or equivalent with 4-6 years of experience
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as test methods, safety rules, standard operating procedures, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing to coworkers and supervisors
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as averages, dilutions, volumes, molarity, and normality.
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Physically capable of working in a laboratory setting
  • Have a positive attitude

    Basic Minimum Qualifications:
     
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is a full-time, temporary position, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of St. Charles, MO are encouraged to apply.
