Eurofins Bio Pharma Product Testing B.V. is part of the international operating Eurofins. The organization is the largest Dutch contract laboratory for the pharmaceutical industry. We specialize in analytical tests for (bio) pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates and (bio) pharmaceutical products  We perform a very diverse range of analyses for a large number of national and international clients within the (bio) pharmaceutical industry.

Job Description

  • Develop, create and implement local strategic growth prospecting and territory action plans;
  • Establish strong relationships in given territory at various levels with (key) business contacts;
  • Must be able to review (monthly) sales trends and respond appropriately in a timely manner;
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs and maintain market  information on competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, policies, pricing, services, etc.;
  • Sells the BU capabilities and differentiation frameworks;
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives;
  • Arrange and active participation in meetings as required to achieve sales goals;
  • Sets and manages customer expectations.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers;
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients;
  • Proactive and outgoing to meet face to face meeting target;
  • Organizes and hosts client visits to meet the required monthly sales visits and prospect calls;
  • Responsible for facilitating and owning the Onboarding Process when initiating new accounts;
  • Attend meetings & trade shows;
  • Presenting professional business proposals and contribute to RFP/RFQ responses as directed;
  • Maintain client files within CRM documenting meetings, phone calls, emails, opportunities;
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals for territory and keep records of sales target related to BU target;
  • Alignment with internal stakeholders in the BU regarding services which are being sold;
  • Frequently inform stakeholders in the BU about progress of negotiation of significant proposals of an RFP;
  • Inform internal stakeholders about agreements reached with clients and transfer of all required information to operations;
  • Frequently provide an up to date and detailed list with status of all leads, opportunities and recent agreements;
  • Keep records of sales target;
  • Create and update sales status reports including identified contacts, leads and confirmed sales. Prepare and present reports to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle including writing in cooperation with Business support;
  • Support sales contracts process;
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Master degree in life sciences or equal by experience
  • Proven working experience as a Sales Manager;
  • Proven sales track record;
  • Experience in customer support is a plus;
  • Market knowledge;
  • Ability to build reports;
  • Communication and negotiation skills;
  • Time management and planning skills;
  • Must be independent, autonomous, creative, and competitive to win business while maintaining excellent relationships;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software;
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch;
