Job Description

This position is responsible for the analysis and reengineering of business processes, studying the procedures and systems currently in place, designing computer systems and/or changes to existing applications to meet the organization's requirements. Researches emerging technologies for new solutions and uses techniques such as data modeling, elicits and documents user requirements and manages them through the entire requirements lifecycle, including the installation and configuration of such requirements, run tests to ensure that systems meet specifications, write user manuals, release notes, and other documentation, and train users on the processes and functionalities. 

Earn in-depth knowledge of Eurofins DiscoverX business processes to help the organization achieve the defined business goals and recommend solutions that are aligned with the strategical and tactical objectives;

  • Analyze the existing processes, current systems and highlight areas of improvement;
  • Define to-be processes in the scope of existing and new solutions;
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions;
  • Elicit and document process diagrams and user requirements;
  • Analyze and decompose complex requirements;
  • Enhance opportunities by identifying new processes / functions to be configured / developed / implemented;
  • Oversee the delivery of the business needs as per the requirements;
  • Facilitate change and configuration management;
  • Verify the functionality of the end product according to the requirements specifications;
  • Take ownership of the processes implemented in the systems involved and: prepare business standard operating procedures, user manuals, release notes, and other functional and technical documentation;
  • Perform training to the users about processes and the systems involved in supporting such processes;
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision;
  • Regular attendance and punctuality;
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner;
  • Performs other duties as assigned;
  • Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering to client needs and timeliness;
  • Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required;
  • Adjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlines;
  • Adheres to site environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 to 8 years in an IT environment preferably in an industrial or process driven environment and ideally in the laboratory industry.
  • At least 3 years as a Technical Writer in an IT environment.
  • Good business understanding in order to facilitate discussions from top managers to end users.
  • Experience in a contract research organization
  • Experience in processes, organization and communication with multiple departments and levels within an organization
  • Experience with establishing and implementing best business practices
  • At least 6 to 8 years in an IT environment preferably in an industrial or process driven environment and ideally in the laboratory industry.
  • At least 3 years as a Technical Writer in an IT environment.
  • Good business understanding in order to facilitate discussions from top managers to end users.
  • Experience in a contract research organization
  • Experience in processes, organization and communication with multiple departments and levels within an organization
  • Experience with establishing and implementing best business practices
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
