Job Description

The Operations Management trainee will have the following responsibilities and tasks:

1.       Perform an overall  review of the operations performance and  advice on a roadmap for improvement projects

2.       Benchmark Operational performance of the service portfolio of Environment Testing UK with Eurofins Group and direct competitors

3.       Perform a review of current operations dashboards and KPI’s in place; and advice where to improve

4.       Engage in outlier reporting & analysis; root cause analysis of ad hoc production / supply chain performance issues

The Operations Management Intern reports to the Operations Director of Eurofins Environment Testing UK.

Qualifications

THE CANDIDATE

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

·        Graduate a UK or European top university; eg Technical Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, General Business.

·        Strong analytical skills

·        Change agent

·        Fine communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

·        Ability to work as part of an ambitious management team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

·        Excellent computer skills and statistical analysis experience

·        Project-oriented

·        Accuracy of work, pays attention to details

·        Good organizational skills and ability to multi task

·        Fluency in English
