Job Description

Eurofins York is a leading international provider of regulatory compliance services and products to the manufacturing and electronics industry, particularly in the fields of EMC, Radio, Electrical Safety, EMF and RF.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at our recently refurbished offices in York.

Applications are invited for the position of Senior Engineer to further expand the capabilities of our Expert Services (ES) team. The post holder will be responsible for performing ES consultancy, research and supporting the activities of our test laboratories as required.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Candidate Requirements:

  • Level 7 National Qualifications Framework (NQF) related qualification (eg MSc/MEng/MPhys)
  • Strong knowledge of IT
  • Technical knowledge of Eurpofins key markets
  • ISO 9001:2008 or similar documented quality management system
  • Excellent personal organisation skills and time management skills
  • Prioritisation skills
  • Ability to communicate with technical specialists and non-specialists alike
  • Awareness of commercial aspects
  • Team and project management skills
  • Proven track record in managing remote service delivery

Additional relevant experience that would set a candidate apart:

  • Professional recognition (eg CEng)
  • Leadership & Management Qualification
  • Good presentation skills
