Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION OBJECTIVES
Provide strategic leadership for Eurofins NTD. Exceed business expansion and profitability goals. Drive organic growth and further acquisition opportunities. Work with Group Leadership and leaders across Eurofins U.S. Clinical Diagnostics to establish long-range goals, strategies and business objectives
POSITION & OBJECTIVES:
- Develop Eurofins NTD business activities through organic growth while meeting agreed EBIT growth objectives.
- Improve operations efficiency at laboratories and logistics. Streamline the operational processes and make good use of IT so as to achieve high efficiency. Roll-out a best-in-class service delivery model to the customers and patients enabling value added reporting and education.
- Increase profitability to meet best industry standards in all activities.
- Lead / take part in the marketing and sales process and ensure that the relations with the clients are good and efficient. Attend and lead meetings with key clients, at all levels and develop an in depth knowledge of customer requirements through regular meetings.
- Make sure that cross-selling synergies with other Eurofins laboratories in North America are being developed.
- Take appropriate measures to improve profitability, including hands-on personal commitment in addressing situations where profit levels are too low.
- Hire, motivate, develop and retain a team of high caliber, and develop a succession planning.
- Define and agree upon goals and milestones and ensure goals are defined and communicated to their respective teams. Set up customer centric Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress. Follow up as appropriate and become hands on if required to ensure achievement of goals.
- Improve the technical and scientific aspects of the business units by ensuring the appropriate development and Provides leadership and management to ensure that the mission and core values of the company are put into practice.
- Drive the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
- Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
- Collaborates with the Executive Team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the company.

- Review operations and financial statements to evaluate achievement of objectives.
- Revise objectives and policies in response to changes in internal and external conditions application of new techniques and business processes.
- Prepare and propose annual budget and 3 years plan. Report on any deviations to deliver agreed upon results to his/her shareholders.
- Lead / take part in Divisional projects / initiatives / assignments in North America and abroad as agreed from time to time with his or her board.
- Negotiate and manage the profitable integration of acquisitions in accordance with strategic goals and decisions / guidelines defined by the board.
- Ensure that the company has appropriate systems, work ethics and policies in place to guarantee high quality of service to clients.
- Maintain Customer satisfaction, including of internal customers.
- Guarantee and control that all relevant legal and Health & Safety requirements are being abided to, in the company and the Business Units under his/her direct or indirect responsibility, that the companies‘ accreditations are being maintained and regularly expanded and that all employees act according to Eurofins values.
- Lead according to Eurofins Leadership Charter and act as a role model for leadership and staff.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry leadership experience
- Prior General Manager or company President preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of full and successful P&L responsibility for a business with revenues over $5M
- Undergraduate degree required in the area of Business or Life Sciences
- Masters or PhD degree highly preferred
- Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources
- Deep knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
- Skilled in formulating/re-engineering and implementing policy, new strategies and procedures
- Ability to build a complete and strong management team
- Merger and acquisition experience preferred
- Superior interpersonal, project management, and resource allocation skills
- Ability to make independent decisions regarding matters of significance
- Keenly attentive to detail
- Demonstrate ability to manage and make decisions as it relates to personnel matters
- Utilize strong network of contacts both inside and outside the company
- Willing to work outside normal business hours as job dictates
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
- Ability to travel up to 25%
