Job Description

  • Oversee the administration of all internal and external reporting with compliance of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) and group accounting and reporting standards.
  • Review monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial data including income statement, balance sheet and cashflow.
  • Conduct the analysis of financial results as compared to monthly objectives.
  • Direct the financial performance within the location, while ensuring financial performance reporting is accurate and timely meeting the constant changing need of the organization.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice on complex accounting issues to functional or operational managers, to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.
  • Provide full business support to local operation leaders in terms of costs analysis, statistics, to ensure compliance to local tax and government rules and regulations.
  • Supervision and co-ordination on respective accounting team.
  • Bridge the operation needs and support from accounting team. Ensure operation BU follows NSC SOP and group’s KGD.
  • Responsible for the preparation of group monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting/budgeting to ensure good quality and timeliness, full involvement in forecast/budget process.
  • Responsible for NWC management (AR collections) to meet group’s expectation on DSO and DPO, cash flow forecast and funding, to ensure timely payment of ICO billings i.e. trade and non-trade, group fees and loan interest.
  • Provide professional accounting/process advice to the finance team on Service Platform and other group companies in Greater China.
  • Interact with and gain acceptance from Management and stakeholders on various initiatives.
  • Assist in preparation of internal and external audit activities as required
  • Work on temporary projects as necessary and required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or Economics
  • Professional Accounting qualifications (CICPA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • At least 8 years professional experience; Big 4 experience preferred

  • Strong conceptual, presentation and report writing skills.
  • Good Chinese and English speaking & writing skills.
