Job Description

The primary function is research, report writing, web mapping and materials development. Supporting the sustainability, research and innovation departments through mapping software and laboratory testing.

Main duties: 

  • The research and analysis of sustainability information and data.
  • Building supply chain maps using ESRI Mapping software.
  • Laboratory work including bio-degradability and microplastic release of materials
  • Referenced report writing on research findings.
  • Supporting the consultancy function to liaise with stakeholders to provide a highly effective consultancy.
  • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitating the administration of international conferences.
  • Providing administrative support to sustainability consulting and research and innovation department including; proposal writing, project planning, generation of promotional materials and development of internal processes.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

  • Degree educated in STEM subject, environmental sciences or sustainability and/or relevant work experience in a related industry    
  • Proven experience of using ESRI Mapping Software
  • Ability to research and write referenced reports
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, with rigorous attention to detail, and the ability to work to deadlines and competing demands
  • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with relevant stakeholders
  • Positive “can-do” attitude
  • Practical laboratory experience desirable but not essential
