About Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd

Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (A CMMI Level 3 Company) is a 100% full owned subsidiary of Eurofins. This young captive centre located in Bangalore was established in 2012 to be the largest IT Solutions group within Eurofins to cater to all the internal IT business needs. The primary focus of IT Solution group will be to develop the next generation LIMS (Lab Information Management system), Customer portals, Ecommerce solutions, ERP/CRM system & B2B platforms for various Eurofins Laboratories and businesses.

TITLE: AX Functional Analyst – Project Management & Accounting and Finance

REPORTING TO:Project Manager

WORKING LOCATION:Bangalore (IN)

OVERALL OBJECTIVES:

·     Be an authority on Project Management & Accounting and Finance impacted processes;

·     Fulfill the role of a subject matter expert in requirement elicitation;

·     Document requirements and create functional specifications;

·     Oversee the development of the product as per the specifications;

·     Help business users understand the standard features of Microsoft AX,  and model the business requirements within the capabilities of AX 2013 R3;

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.      In-depth knowledge on the Project Management & Accounting  and Finance modules in AX 2012 R3 to help our Organization achieve the defined business goals and recommend solutions that are aligned with the strategical objectives;

2.      Analyze the existing processes, current systems, and highlight areas of improvement and define to-be processes in the scope of the AX 2012 R3 implementation;

3.      Fulfill the role of a subject matter expert in requirement elicitation;

4.      Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions;

5.      Document process diagrams, requirements, and create functional specifications;

6.      Analyze and decompose complex requirements;

7.      Enhance opportunities by identifying new processes / functions to be configured / developed / implemented;

8.      Oversee the development of the product as per the specifications;

9.      Facilitate change and configuration management;

10.   Monitor performance, discover variances  and propose necessary actions;

11.   Verify the functionality of the end product according to the requirements specifications;

12.   Prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents, and other functional and technical documentation.

EVOLUTION

The Eurofins Drug Discovery and Bioanalytics Services is a fairly new business line within the Organization, with an aggressive technological roadmap being implemented to support all the business processes worldwide.Being part of fast paced worldwide group, this position offers great opportunity of personal and professional growth inside the business line and the rest of the Organization (may be subject to geographical relocation).

PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL CRITERIA:

Eurofins has a strong focus on performance management. This includes prior definition of SMART objectives with frequent calibrations, half-yearly reviews and annual reviews.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

Type and duration of previous experience:

·        Minimum 5 years professional experience in overall IT industry in IT systems design, development, deployment and support;

·        At least 5 years of relevant experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009/2012 with Project Management & Accounting and Finance modules;

·        International work experience is a highly appreciated plus.

Specific skills required:

·        High level of English communication skills (concise writing and orally convincing);

·        Working knowledge of data process modeling tools;

·        Communicate in a clear and efficient way, with good presentations skills.

Travel:Travels to Eurofins facilities mainly located in France, UK, US and Taiwan are required. Percentage of working time of approximately 25-40%.

Bachelor in Computer Science or any other equivalent degree.
