The Job

Eurofins is setting up a new Software Engineering Operation here in Dublin, with the plan to grow the team to over 150 people within the next two years.

We are looking to bring great engineers, business analysts and technologists into the business to build and grow an organization with a start-up spirit, to implement world- class software solutions and the strongest IT foundation possible - Made in Ireland - for a business with an enormous global footprint.

You will be part of a high performance team and will get the opportunity to work with some of the most transformational software projects that make a real difference.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Develop functional design specifications and business process maps that document project plans, production systems
• Identify, analyse, and communicate architecture and integration options and make recommendations to management.
• Document best practices and solution blueprints.
• Ensure that designed solutions are successfully implemented
• Support the business in validating the solution.
• Interact with stakeholders to map business requirements into functional solutions that optimally balance cost, speed of implementation, and value

• Train members of the team in the latest best practices and design approaches.

• 10+ years’ experience in a business oriented software delivery environment
• Experience in Information Systems, including roles as a hands on technical business systems analyst or functional analyst
• Strong experience working on “build” software delivery projects
• Experience with n-tier architectures, client-server architectures, SOA, Micro services, enterprise application integration (EAI), usability principles and design patterns.
• Experience in demonstrating the ability to translate business needs into architecture requirements.

• Ability to absorb business drivers and functional requirements and envision the system capabilities needed to fulfil them.
• Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachmann
• Experience with modelling languages and tools such as Archimate and Sparx EA is a plus
