Job Description

  • Verification of sample submissions to Quality Control
  • Documentation of sample transactions in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
  • Handling, storage, and organization of samples
  • Delivering samples to QC laboratories for testing as required
  • Interacting with outside customers and functional peer groups
  • Fulfilling sample pull requests
  • Compliance with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements
  • Conducting temperature, environmental, and/or CO2 monitoring.
  • Preparation of samples for shipment
  • Performing sample inventory and disposal
  • Ensuring compliance with SOPs; reports any quality or other anomalies through the Deviation Notification and Resolution system
  • Participating in required training activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences – Relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
  • Thrive working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multitask
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Can work in a team environment but can also take ownership of technical or business-related projects and improvements
  • Can perform tasks within appropriate timeframes while maintaining accuracy
  • Knowledge cGMP is a plus
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, direct hire role. This role is 1st Shift Wednesday-Saturday | 6am - 4:30 PM . Pay is $19.50/hr-22.50/hr.
