Job Description

Synopsis

The Store Supervisor reports to Manager Stores & Logistics,  plays a vital role in overseeing store operations and reinforcing a strong safety culture throughout the organization. This role involves proactive collaboration with Technical Maintenance team, Compliance & Quality, and Corporate Safety—to drive safety awareness initiatives, preparation for store audit, and maintain store as per aviation standard.

Accountabilities

The responsibilities for the Store Supervisor are as follows:

Manage technical bonded stores related activities, spares segregation, storage condition, control and monitoring of aircraft parts, equipment, supplies, and other technical materials in compliance with the storage requirements, rules, and regulations of General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

Evaluate methods, policies, procedures, guidelines and propose to upgrade and maintain standard practice in storekeeping, developing system and process to select appropriate tools and equipment and suitable stores layout.

Manage and ensure smooth running operation at technical stores on 24 / 7 coverage and ascertain that immediate material support to maintenance is carried out. Provide sufficient manpower allocation to stores at all times.

Manage of tool stores related functions by maintaining and ensuring an efficient control and efficiency, on all tools to support maintenance requirement during routine and maintenance checks.

Ensure efficient control on customer inventory and manage physical stock check and timely reconciliation are carried out.

Adhere to Safety and Quality manual procedures; actively promote workplace safety and encourage reporting of unsafe acts, conditions, or risks.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s or equivalent degree or diploma in aircraft maintenance engineering .

Minimum of 5 years aviation industry experience in other airlines within Aircraft maintenance stores and logistics with supervisory role preferable.

Good understanding of technical manuals, aviation spares , ERP preferably AMOS and MS office.

A resilient individual with the ability to adapt to diverse, multicultural environments and work flexible shifts in demanding conditions.

Self-motivated team player and excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Leadership skills to manage team and ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders across all levels.
