Job Description

Synopsis

The Technical Records Officer reports to Technical Records Lead Engineer and is responsible to ensure that Aircraft and associated components and equipment Maintenance Records are maintained and updated to meet all relevant CAR M requirements.

Accountabilities

  • Receive, review and archive maintenance records.
  • Update logbooks.
  • Update various binders managed by Technical Records.
  • Issue and follow up Discrepancy Reports.
  • Ensure availability of Form for all components installed on Etihad Fleet.
  • Prepare and issue various reports such as Aircraft Utilization report, Engine/APU utilization report, Engine / APU LLP Status reports, etc.
  • Liaises with colleagues within and outside Technical Records to ensure availability of upto date and correct Maintenance Records.
  • Provide support to compile records for Aircraft transfers.
  • Provides recommendations and improvements of technical procedures and processes.
  • May be required to lead a small team of Technical Assistants/ Office Helpers.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school plus 3 years work experience or a Bachelors degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Aircraft Maintenance License preferred.
  • Understanding of EASA/CAR OPS and EASA/ CAR Part M and Part 145 regulations.
