Job Description
Synopsis
Manage business intelligence and data analysis teams and liaise with IT department to ensure the development of analysis, research and reporting tools to support decision making process. Apply gap analysis techniques and make recommendations to stakeholders for off target performance.
Accountabilities
- Participate in developing data management and reporting frameworks to steamroll the operations in the most effective and efficient manner.
- Select and lead the design and implementation of data analysis tools to ensure the organization has access to best in class data mining and reporting technologies
- Lead the development of business financial KPIs and dashboards to provide relevant indicators and performance measurement and reporting capabilities
- Identify and manage data integrity and protection issues not impacting sensitive information to ensure the enforcement of proper data security procedures to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Identify and escalate data quality and protection issues impacting sensitive data to ensure they are properly and timely managed
- Manage a team of data analyst?s day to day activity to ensure relevant information is provided to the business for effective operational decision making.
- Lead the execution of strategic researches and analysis to ensure high quality standards, completeness and compliance with analysis procedures and data integrity
- Review and define complex action plans to support business functions in scenarios implementation
- Design implementation roadmaps and plans to support business functions in detailing and executing identified actions
- Support business functions in planning and monitoring execution of identified actions to ensure scenarios implementation
- Provide direction and recommendations through analytical analysis, to steer the business to identified revenue opportunities.
- Lead, coach and advice the team to ensure high standards of performance and quality are achieved
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum Diploma (2 years or more). Six Sigma specialisation is preferred. Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint), SQL query and other business intelligence tools.
- Minimum of 7 years of work experience within relevant field.
