Job Description

Guide, lead, and direct the market through effective management of Etihad insource team with the cargo commercial and operational strategy to maximize result for Mediterranean & CIS market. Effective achievement of objectives by setting Objectives for insource team, developing and motivating team to maximize individual and collective performance. You will drive continuous performance management and coaching to improve performance. You will comply with all relevant safety, security, quality, health, and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Cooperate with the GHA/Cargo Terminal to supply quality service to customers and comply with the EY\
  • Use defined tools of KPI and SLA to ensure compliance with EYCC standards and service levels.
  • Participate in the budgeting process. Ensure no financial bad debt and full compliance with CASS when applicable.
  • Drive implementation of iCargo, self-service solutions, direct booking capabilities, and E-Airway Bill.
  • Lead the implementation of EY Cargo commercial strategy in the respective market and for the respective accounts.
  • Lead, manage, and coordinate the team to achieve agreed-upon targets according to the defined strategy and budget expectations.
  • Develop, implement, and execute strong country, area, and account plans to maximize Etihad Cargo's revenue, load factor, yield, and product mix.
  • Lead, develop, manage, and maintain a portfolio of customer contracts following Etihad Cargo's segmentation model and commercial strategy.
  • Performance steering the local sales, reservations, and customer service teams to maximize company reach and revenue potential.
  • Develop, maintain, and steer customer relationships, including global key accounts (where the key account structure requires), regional key accounts, and local accounts at all levels.
  • Manage sales costs, coach, direct and motivate the team. Measure Salesforce effectiveness and take action to improve quality and coverage.
  • Collect, organize, provide feedback to HQ, and proactively act based on market intelligence. Identify opportunities and potential obstacles and plan strategies to overcome any resistance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma (2 years of more), bachelor’s degree or equivalent .
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience and experience of Cargo market with strong customer knowledge .
  • Extensive experience in Mediterranean & CIS cargo market with strong customer knowledge.
  • Fluent English - both written and spoken is essential .Strong cargo commercial experience.
  • Basic Knowledge and experience with GHA/warehouse handling.
