Job Description
The Human Resource Specialist/Manager at Ethos Interctive plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our workforce. This role involves overseeing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance. The HR Specialist/Manager will collaborate closely with department managers and employees to maintain a positive work environment that fosters growth, productivity, and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Collaborate with department heads to determine staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for various positions, ensuring alignment with agency culture and job requirements.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, facilitating orientation and necessary training.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a healthy working atmosphere.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and job satisfaction.
Performance Management:
- Administer performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers on setting objectives, conducting evaluations, and delivering constructive feedback.
- Identify performance improvement areas and work with managers to create development plans.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employees' skills and competencies.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure ongoing professional development opportunities are available to staff.
HR Policies and Compliance:
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, making necessary adjustments as needed.
Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and concerns.
Employee Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and security.
- Process changes related to employee status, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Workplace Culture and Diversity:
- Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment by promoting tolerance, respect, and understanding among employees.
- Implement initiatives to celebrate cultural and individual differences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in human resources, preferably in the marketing and advertising industry.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing HR challenges.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
