ETech 7 is seeking a computer science student for an internship position. The position’s main focus will be to assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. Administration and support of the following systems and tools will be the focus of the position:

• Assist in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

• Support in developing web, desktop, or mobile applications.

• Debugging and troubleshooting software issues.

• Collaborate on the development of software architecture and design.

• Participate in code reviews and software testing.

• Assist in the integration of software with third-party services and APIs.

• Support for version control systems such as Git.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of software documentation.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to improve application interfaces.

• Assist in deploying software solutions to various environments (development, testing, production).

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Implement software development best practices in projects.

• Collaborate with senior developers to enhance application performance and reliability.

• Assist in all other aspects of software development and deployment.

• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
• Ability to work well with a team and under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from college or university in a related field
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
• Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities
