Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Workday Implementation Consultant in our Bangalore location.

The Implementation Consultant will work with clients to understand their business requirements, provide Workday product and implementation expertise to their engagements, and help configure and test the Workday solution.

The Implementation Consultant will take direction and provide status to the Engagement Manager assigned to their project. 

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Become an expert in the Workday product suite – HCM, Payroll and/or Financials - through company-sponsored training and hands-on engagements
- Perform the following on an engagement :

1) understand client business requirements,

2) configure the Workday solution,

3) demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems,

4) assist the client in testing the Workday solution

- Work with the client to help convert legacy data into Workday
- Assist the integration consulting team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and benefit providers, payroll systems and other 3rd party/custom solutions
- Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices
- Identify opportunities to position other service offerings
- Ensure the client is referencable once the client is in production
- Participate in update training and other events that help share one’s product skills with other consultants
- Provide the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them apprised of overall project status

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Willingness to travel
  • 3+ years of consulting experience
  • Experience with HCM and/or ERP systems – Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, etc.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and deliver results with aggressive timelines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Work well independently or on a team
  • Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
  • Demonstrate self motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quickly
  • Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Knowledge of related applications and cloud-based technologies
