Job Description

·      Responsibility for proposal development, including budget and text, largely independently or under little guidance of the Proposals Manager, customising all documents to accurately reflect services to be provided.

·      Ensuring understanding of Request for Information (RFI) / Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements received from clients following strategy calls and involvement in developing detailed strategic responses working closely with Business Development, Operations teams and Finance.

·      Ensuring all proposal documents and budgets undergo Operations review and approval and self quality check (QC) review.

·      Ensuring all proposal documents are sent to Proposals Manager for assignment for team QC prior to Client submission.

·      QC proposal documents assigned by Proposals Manager prior to Client submission.

·      Occasional attendance at Client meetings / teleconferences if required on RFPs / RFIs assigned to Proposal Associate.

·      Developing working relationships with internal stakeholders.

·      Updating the sales tracking database (Salesforce.com) and saving all relevant documents onto the Business Development portal.

·      Working independently under time pressure to meet tight deadlines. Must be able to manage workload and prioritise activities to ensure timely completion of assignments.

·      Helping develop and maintain content for the RFI library.

Qualifications

Ideally a 3-4 Year Work Experience or a Bachellors Degree in Life Sciences
