Job Description

Senior HR Manager responsibilities include overseeing the local HR processes, designing company policies and setting objectives for the HR team. You will also help shape our employer brand strategy. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with HR technology, including payroll systems and Applicant Tracking Systems.

 You will get exposure to many different aspects of the business and have the opportunity to work on international HR projects.

 Ultimately, you will ensure our company attracts, hires, develops and retains qualified employees. you will enjoy a varied role and a wide range of interactions across all levels on a daily basis.

Duties and responsibilities

•                     Acting as trusted advisor to the local HR team, and being go to person on all HR related issues

•                     Working with the HR leadership team to provide input and support in relation to HR issues and projects

•                     Set objectives for the HR team and track progress

•                     Implement corporate policies that promote a healthy work environment

•                     Develop compensation and benefits plans

•                     Discuss employees’ career development paths with managers

•                     Monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates and cost-per-hire)

•                     Liaise with the L&D team and support the learning and development programs

•                     Ensure HR staff addresses employees’ requests and grievances in a timely manner

•                     Maintain HR procedures that comply with labor regulations

•                     Handling employment relations issues such as grievances and employee welfare.

•                     Collaborating with other managers in the business, sometimes internationally, to ensure the smooth running of the company from a people perspective.

•                     Partnering with senior operational staff including the HR director, to establish and roll-out people-related strategy.

•                     Overseeing staff attendance and absence monitoring.

•                     Providing detailed HR reports to senior management teams.

•                     Administration of employee-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, new starter packs, or formal notices of termination.

•                     Leading new starter company inductions.

•                     Managing talent pools and succession plans to ensure the company can continue to operate in the future.

•                     Overseeing training and development of team members.

•                     Administering financial elements such as payroll, compensation and benefits, and pension schemes.

•                     Handling highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

•                     A Bachelor’s degree preferably in an HR related field, BSc degree in Human Resources Management or Organisational Psychology

•                     Have significant HR experience as a senior leader, ideally within a high volume, fast paced environment

•                     Experience with a international company and ideally experience in muliple countries.

•                     Experience of strong change management, negotiation and influencing skills

•                     Experience with MS Office tools and HR Information Systems

•                     Fluent command of English, in both written and verbal form

•                     Advanced knowledge of local labor law

•                     Ability to use analytical and experiential data for decision making

•                     Ability to work independently, as an active member of both business and HR teams

•                     Experience managing medium to large scale projects

Preferred Qualifications

•                     A Master’s degree in an HR related field or equivalent through experience

•                     Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organisation

•                     Intellectual curiosity to bring new insights to the business, preferably in a multicultural environment
