Job Description

We are currently looking for Vendor Manager to join our growing team. The main responsibilities of this position are:

  • Research for the available options for Local Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance vendors to find the best prices available within a given market/territory;
  • Cooperate with other departments/entities within the group to explore the available options for providing services in house;
  • Maintain the list of available options with details per country/territory (both internal and external options);
  • Conduct interviews and meetings with potential vendors;
  • Negotiate new and existing vendor contracts;
  • Data analysis to support decision making;
  • Act as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders;
  • Coordinate all vendor management tasks inclusive of working with external vendors and internal employees;
  • Keep overview on due diligence as well as support risk evaluation, cooperate with QA department;
  • Ensure onboarding process (granting access to relevant common shared area(s) and E-learning portal);
  • Ensure tracking, measuring, reporting and evaluating vendor performance;
  • Initiate and/or review proposed contract modifications and negotiate or refer to other internal departments for review as appropriate;
  • Track contract renewal periods and proactively prepare budgets for future years of the contracts;
  • Support expansion across ongoing projects and explore new business lines;
  • Together with the business development team serve as a client contact during the negotiation phase and remain as point-of-contact with clients.
  • May support clinical research vendor management.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Management
  • Demonstrated work experience in Contracts or a similar industry.
  • Working independently under time pressure to meet tight deadlines. Must be able to manage workload and prioritize activities to ensure timely completion of assignments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proof reading to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Strong oral communication skills including communicating in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with potentially conflicting requirements.
  • Strong initiative to learn.
  • Ability to manage relationships and communicate with senior managers and directors.
  • Advanced level of English language (both spoken and written)
  • Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel to advanced level.
