Job Description

We are looking for Medical Information (MI) Associate to join our US team. The  MI Associate will be responsible for medical writing including:

  • To take responsibility for supporting the MI team with first line medical information enquiries in English / American English. This may include performing adverse event follow ups, returning calls on behalf of the team, and assisting with triage of incoming MI calls/email inquiries; 
  • To provide approved responses to unsolicited first line medical information enquiries from external customers including consumers and patients across the US received via the call centre;  
  • To accurately identify, document and report adverse events, pregnancy and other special situation events, and product quality complaints in a clear and concise manner within required timeframes according to government regulations, and client and PrimeVigilance internal policies and procedures; 
  • To ensure that all medical information enquiries are tracked and fully documented within the Medical Information database

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of science, BS, CPhT, LPN, CNA, pharmacy, nursing, nursing assistant, home health aide or similar healthcare background;
  • Proven experience in a customer service type role; 
  • The role is ideal for a confident and enthusiastic individual;
  • Knowledge of pharmacovigilance is an advantage.
