Job Description

Responsible for providing a premium shopping experience through superior customer service in addition to maintaining the store. 

Duties & Repsonsibilities include the following; 

  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals, with an emphasis on accessories.
  • Staying informed on current design trends. 
  • Networking within the community, resulting in new business opportunities.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients & store team members.
  • Adhering to all company Policies & Procedures.
  • Contributing to the completion of the daily checklist. 
  • Aiding in physical receipt of floor and/or customer inventory. 
  • Holds store key. 
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Experience/Education: High school diploma or general eduction degree (GED); or one year related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; internet software and order processing systems. 

Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members of the organization. 

Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. 

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Equipment/Physical Demands: Use of furniture dolly and ladder.   • Team members unload furniture one to two times per week. 
  • Team members must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
