Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Intake Specialist to join our team in Racine, United States. As an Intake Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the initial contact and information gathering process for our clients, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from the start. Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct initial interviews with clients to gather essential information, assess their needs, and perform eligibility screenings for various programs or services
- Accurately enter and maintain client data in our database systems, ensuring all required forms and documentation are completed and organized
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly, and assist in scheduling appointments and follow-up communications
- Coordinate with other departments and external agencies to facilitate smooth client onboarding and obtain additional information when necessary
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies and procedures
- Generate reports and statistics related to intake activities as needed
- Collaborate with team members to improve intake processes and efficiency
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of intake cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Travel as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, with 1-3 years of experience in intake, customer service, or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation and professional demeanor
- Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of intake procedures and documentation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
