Job Description
The Real Estate Analyst is responsible for the accurate processing and review of landlord’s billings related to occupancy costs, including rent, tax and common area maintenance charges. To manage the assigned accounts payable data entry functions within the organization's established policies. The person in this role will ensure that invoices are paid according to the terms. Successful candidates will have strong experience with accurate invoice data processing and verifications in additional of all landlord A/R monthly statements. In addition, Construction applications invoices must be reviewed and processed timely weekly
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand Real Estate Accounting, billing, and analysis
- Understanding of construction invoice processing
- Be the liaison between Finance and various departments in providing detailed expense analysis.
- Verify correct account distribution, handle discrepancies and adjustments
- Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Reconciles monthly Landor’s and Vendor statements
- Assist AP Manager Real Estate Manager with monthly close-out and accrual schedule
- Support the finance departments with accounts payable projects as required
- Submission of weekly Construction applications to AP Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred and able to reconcile statements.
- Minimum 2- 4 years of experience in accounts payable role in a high-volume environment
- Real Estate Accounting background and Construction AP
- Ability to navigate and review leases and Construction apps.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Office preferred (pivot and vlookup, a plus)
- Self-motivated, proactive, critical thinker with ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Work independently with limited supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
Pay Transparency: $70,000 - $80,000
