The first of its kind boutique fitness experience, SoulCycle revolutionized the fitness industry. Our signature 45-minute indoor cycling class is an immersive and intense mind-body-soul workout, where legendary instructors guide riders through class – helping them lose themselves in the ride, the music, the experience. Title: Instructor 

Status: Part Time / Full Time 

SoulCycle is seeking inspiring leaders in the fitness industry to learn and teach our rhythm-based class arc and brand experience in studios across the country and internationally.  SoulCycle offers both part-time and full-time opportunities for qualified instructors. Through our training program, the potential instructor will be taught our method and mission to inspire our riders in an uplifting and inclusive way.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for the SoulCycle brand and culture, be an active community builder, and commit to teaching in a faced-paced, dynamic, hospitality-focused environment.

This position will report to the regional Talent Manager. The responsibilities and duties of this position described here are representative of those an employee must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.

Role Expectations:

• Successfully complete the mandatory SoulCycle Instructor Training Program

• Teach an on-brand class, SoulCycle experience. 

• Must be adaptable and amenable to schedule & policy changes

• Be proactive, professional and timely in all communications. 

• Work to align performance with market specific goals. Goals include: promote marketing campaigns & grow performance data included in your Instructor Flash Report.

• Invest & participate in development, feedback & continuing education opportunities 

• Build & sustain relationships w/ studios managers, talent managers and instructor development team to achieve goals. 

• Recognize & embrace the shifting dynamics of each studio, audience, time slot 

• Be aware of your riders and keep class inclusive, making sure they feel successful & celebrated 

• Be a brand ambassador inside and outside of the studio.

• Strong preference for 2+ years of professional teaching experience in group fitness

• Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain interpersonal relationships 

• Must be well-versed in basic anatomy, kinesiology and exercise modifications for all rider populations 

• Must have enthusiasm and passion for the SoulCycle brand and class experience 

• Must have access to phone & email communication as well as a laptop computer.

• Must be proficient in Apple Music and/or music editing programs. 

• Must be friendly, vibrant and community driven.

• Excel in hospitality and customer service. 

Pay Transparency: Min $60 - Max $104 per session.
