Job Description

Equinox is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Systems and Analysis to join our Finance department. The Senior Manager will assist with the evaluation, selection, implementation, and optimization of an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solution to streamline Financial Planning & Analysis processes, automation, and consolidation of financial statements for all subsidiaries.  He/she will bring to bear excellent understanding of financial systems and financial planning & analysis.  He/she will develop and maintain smooth, cooperative working relationships with all levels in the company and its subsidiaries.  He/she will approach projects with a flexible, innovative, service-oriented approach, and a strong emphasis on system-based (rather than people-based) solutions. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement new Enterprise Performance Management solution and train users in all subsidiaries.
  • Design and create reporting to consolidate all subsidiaries, drill downs, and provide executive management higher visibility to performance and the drivers behind them.
  • Ensure consolidated financial reporting occurs timely and accurately.
  • Liaison between IT and Finance.
  • Develop processes and manage annual financial plans for subsidiaries that currently do not have their own FP&A team.
  • Prepare integrated business plans and return on investment financial models for new business opportunities, current product lines and capital projects for subsidiaries that currently do not have a FP&A team.
  • Analyze actual financials and identify key variances vs. Budget and identify any trends

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in Finance Systems or Financial Planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.  MBA preferred.
  • Strong Financial System skills required.
  • Experience in financial forecasting, planning and analysis and operational budget management.
  • Must possess excellent analytical, financial modeling and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills - Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
  • Organized, detail oriented, proactive, ability to multi-task and manage multiple concurrent responsibilities and requests.
  • Excellent decision making, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be a team player who understands the importance of the role as a key support function to the operating team.
