As a UI/Interaction Designer you will design stunning interfaces and interactive digital products. The Equinox Product Design Team is a rapidly growing team that loves things to be beautiful, inspiring, and work magnificently. It’s the attention to detail that sets this team’s work apart from others. You will truly enjoy what they do, be flexible and communicative, and relish learning new things. Responsibilities:

• Own creation and maintenance of a living/breathing design system consisting of styles, patterns, standardized elements and interactions

• Partner with product designers, product managers and engineers across pods to bring experiences to life with visuals, UI interactions, and motion

• Ensure products are an extension of the overall Equinox brand

• Prototype experiences rapidly that incorporate motion and interactions to enhance UI for usability testing and partner demos

• Incorporate user research and use usability testing to inform your concepts

• Collaborate with team members iteratively within design sprints

• Continually keep yourself current with the latest design trends, and share your observations with the team

• Hand off clean design files and specs to engineers

• QA interfaces for accuracy and consistency with approved visuals before release dates

• You have an extraordinary portfolio showcasing web and app work from brand/design centric cultures

• You excel with typography and layout

• You have deep experience building interactive designs for multiple device types and sizes

• You have mastered motion/animation skills

• You have experience with luxury and/or lifestyle brands

• You love working alongside front-end developers

• You have solid experience with front-end prototyping with html/css/javascript a huge plus

• You are proficient working across multiple design applications (Sketch, XD, Principle, After Effects, Adobe CC)

• You are able to lead numerous projects at a time under time constraints

• You love making difficult things happen, and solving the many challenges along the way

• You are patient, determined, flexible, and open-minded.

• You have unimpeachable ethics and excellent judgment
