The spot salary for this post is £7,894 per annum (FTE £19,735) for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all of the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

Part time - 14 hours working Tuesday and Wednesday, 8.30am to 4.30pm (negotiable) with 1 hour lunch

Our client is a successful national housing association owning over 21,500 homes with a turnover of £100m. Our residents’ homes and services are managed from regional offices in Middlesbrough, Burnley, Camberley and Peterborough, with the central office located in Shipley, West Yorkshire.

The role and person

We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to help us deliver our services for older people. We are looking for an individual to share the role of Scheme Manager at Milton Court Independent Living Scheme in Arnold, Nottingham. This role is primarily allocated to Milton Court with some support required at other schemes when needed. The ideal candidate will already have experience in a similar role and will be able to demonstrate a positive, proactive approach to the management of the scheme.

The Scheme Manager role includes carrying out weekday checks on residents and ensuring the building; communal areas, garden and grounds are cleaned, maintained and secure.

You will be working primarily on your own and taking responsibility for the scheme. It is key that you are able to manage residents in order to support them whilst meeting all of Accent’s priorities. You will be able to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies when they arise and will appreciate the importance of thorough record keeping, including risk assessments and health and wellbeing plans. You will have used housing management systems in the past and have good general IT skills. Strong time and people management abilities are essential.

You will be prepared to undertake some housing management functions, e.g. dealing with anti-social behaviour and mediating between residents.
