Job Description

Step into a high-impact Oncology nursing role where you’ll deliver specialised care in a leading Day Oncology Unit, supporting patients through some of their most critical treatment journeys.

Opportunities are available to join Epworth Richmond’s Day Oncology Unit in a permanent part-time capacity (0.6–0.8 EFT). This 20-chair, 4-bed service provides specialised infusional care to Oncology, Haematology & Medical patients.

You will join an expanding comprehensive oncology service and work alongside a highly collaborative, patient-focused team committed to delivering exceptional, individualised care.

You will make an impact by:

  • Delivering high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within the Day Oncology Unit
  • Applying critical thinking and evidence-based practice to complex clinical scenarios
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families throughout treatment
  • Supporting safe, efficient patient flow while maintaining high clinical standards

Qualifications

To be successful in this role…

You are an experienced Oncology and/or Haematology nurse with a strong focus on patient outcomes. You communicate with confidence and empathy, building rapport with patients and their families. You thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute positively to the ongoing development and growth of the service.

You will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Previous Oncology/Haematology nursing experience (essential)
  • EviQ ADAC Certificate (or equivalent chemotherapy certificate)
  • Contemporary knowledge of cancer nursing best practice

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses – AUD $82,237 - $103,280 + super + entitlements depending on registration type, year level and position (prorated for part-time).
