Job Description
An exciting opportunity to join the Multiple Speciality Clinical Trials Unit as a Clinical Research Nurse in a 12 month fixed term full time opportunity to help deliver high‑quality international clinical trials that make a genuine difference in the lives of people with solid tumour cancers.
Based at Epworth Richmond and visiting other Epworth Sites as required, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of multiple clinical research projects across various specialities. You will be involved in research studies in various stages from set-up, recruitment and close out. Your work will ensure trial participants receive exceptional care and that each study is conducted with precision, integrity, and compassion.
You will make an impact by:
- Coordinating research studies across a number of specialty areas, adhering to Good Clinical Practice and other relevant guidelines
- Working collaboratively within a Multidisciplinary team, building quality relationships within Epworth, our participants and consumers
- Preparing and maintaining high‑quality trial documentation for monitoring visits, audits, inspections, and data review, including resolving queries and maintaining accurate records.
- Participating in research meetings, committees, and cross-functional activities that support continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
You will bring:
- Current Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrative time management skills
- Exceptional organisational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work autonomously
- A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in contributing to high‑quality clinical research
- Cardiac or Anaesthetics experience (desirable)
- Experience in Research is (desirable)
