Job Description

Epworth Healthcare is seeking a Grade 1 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team at Epworth Rehabilitation.This role is offered as a fixed-term contract commencing on 15 December 2025, with an end date of 30 September 2026.

In this rotational role, you will gain exposure to a wide range of clinical experiences, working with patients presenting with a variety of neurological, orthopaedic, cardiac, respiratory, medical, trauma and brain injury conditions, across three sites (Camberwell, Hawthorn & Richmond) in both acute and sub acute settings. 

As the successful candidate, your diligence and high level organisational skills will be imperative to working in a fast paced hospital environment, knowing that at the end of the day, you can leave your work at work achieving that all important work life balance. Every Occupational Therapist is well supported via a dedicated supervisor and has access to excellent professional development opportunities.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant hospital experience as an Occupational Therapist is highly desirable but not essential (new graduates welcome to apply)
  • A Victorian Driver’s license (and willingness to drive with patients in the car in metropolitan Melbourne)
  • Excellent computer literacy including MS Office Word and Excel

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent as recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapy
    • Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
