Job Description
An exciting opportunity is now available to join the Geelong Clinical Education team in a permanent part-time role as Educator for our Caner Care units. The focus of this role is to collaborate with the Nurse Manager, education and clinical teams, to support and develop the workforce in the Cancer Care units at Epworth Geelong. This position is responsible for supporting both learners and the broader team, driving quality and safety through the provision of education, training, workshops, programs and clinical support.
This role is a 0.6 EFT, permanent part-time opportunity, commencing in November 2025.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills within
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Highly developed communication & interpersonal skills including effective stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and achieve outcomes
- A high level of self-motivation, accountability and able to work within agreed parameters
- Relevant Postgraduate qualification in Cancer Care (essential)
- Cert IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)
- Previous experience in an education role (desirable)
