Job Description
Choosing either a full-time, part-time or casual role with opportunities to work within a variety of surgical specialities, including endoscopy, general surgery, ear, nose and throat, plastics, orthopaedic, neurosurgical and cardiothoracic surgery.
You will make an impact by:
- Providing a high level of nursing care to your patient during their theatre journey
- Assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of patients
- Monitoring the condition of patients during procedures and reporting changes
For you to be successful in this role…
You may be an EN or RN looking to work with a team of patient-first nurses. You are a good communicator, flexible in your approach and have natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients. Solutions-focused with the patient at the heart of all your decisions, you enjoy collaborating with a team of like-minded social theatre nurses.
You will have:
- Relevant Scrub Scout experience
- Orthopaedic, Spine, ENT and Hybrid scrub nurses highly regarded
- Current unrestricted AHPRA Nursing registration
- Broad experience gained across a variety of surgical specialties
- Ability to work a Monday – Friday rotating roster (mix of AM and PM shifts)
- Ability to be available for weekend on-call
- Casual weekend work available
- Post graduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing will be highly regarded but not essential

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses – AUD $68,212 - $95,776 + super + entitlements and Enrolled Nurses – AUD $66,094 - $74,667 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position/experience (prorated for part-time).
