Job Description

Two exciting opportunities exist for Grade 2 Physiotherapists experienced in orthopaedic physiotherapy to join the Allied Health Team at Epworth Rehabilitation. These roles are full-time fixed term positions (parental leave cover) until June 2026. 

One clinical role is responsible for the provision of physiotherapy services for Outpatients at Epworth Richmond, providing care to a variety of Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal outpatients. The other role provides rehabilitation physiotherapy services for Orthopaedic Inpatients at Epworth Camberwell including post-operative and MTO patients. Both these roles involve mentoring and supervision of junior staff and students and support of quality and research initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Recent experience in the area of orthopaedic physiotherapy
  • Experience with the supervision of junior staff and students
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • A flexible mindset to meet the many clinical needs of patients
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • The natural ability to be proactive and responsive to changing patient profiles and service demands

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor or Post Graduate Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration
