Job Description
The Central Resource Unit is looking for casual midwives to work night duty across our Maternity Services departments

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing expert midwifery care to postnatal mothers and newborns, including advice on feeding, baby care, and maternal recovery.
- Monitoring and assessing the health and wellbeing of both mother and baby, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
- Ensuring a seamless, patient-centered experience through collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Role-modeling empathy, compassion, and professionalism in your interactions with patients and families.
- Continuously enhancing your skills by participating in ongoing education and staying current with best practices in maternity care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Birth Suite and/or Postnatal ward
- A strong understanding of contemporary maternity and newborn care practices.
- A passion for providing exceptional, empathetic care to women and their families

Qualifications
- Current AHPRA Registration as a dual registered Nurse/Midwife (essential)
